by For the past couple of days, I have been conducting an anonymous survey about Thanksgiving! I went around to random students and staff to get their opinions on Thanksgiving.
QUESTION 1: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MAIN COURSE TO HAVE ON THANKSGIVING?
What I’ve found out is that a lot of people love stuffing, and not a lot of people like turkey! We can take away the fact that people need to learn how to cook turkey properly. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I personally like to have Corn Casserole on Thanksgiving! It’s just so sweet, salty, savory, sour, and cheesy at the same time! It’s like if corn bread was turned into a casserole!
QUESTION 2: WHAT DO YOU HAVE WITH YOUR TURKEY/POULTRY?
What I’ve found out is that a lot of people love mashed potatoes, and not a lot of people like cranberry sauce! We can take away the fact that mashed potatoes and gravy is the staple dish of any holiday feast.
I personally like to have my turkey with jellied cranberry sauce. Sometimes, if it is very smooth and not too garlicky, I will get a small amount of mashed potato to dip my turkey in.
QUESTION 3: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE APPETIZER ON THANKSGIVING?
What I’ve found out is that a lot of people like chips and dip, and not a lot of people like potato salad! We can take away the fact that potato salad is nasty. (；－з-)＝゜。
I personally love to raid the snack plates on Thanksgiving! The cheese plate, the meat plate, the fruit plate, the veggie plate, they will all be devoured by me.
QUESTION 4: DO YOU HELP SET UP FOR THANKSGIVING?
What I’ve found out is that almost everyone willingly helps set up on Thanksgiving, while everyone else either doesn’t help or is forced to help! We can take away the fact that most people are nice, while the rest are evil. (ಥ ͜ʖ ͡ಥ)
I personally try to help willingly at first, then my dad says no, and then he forces me to help 5 seconds after he says no.
QUESTION 5: DO YOU WATCH THE GAME ON TV?
What I’ve learned is that many students watch the football game, and everyone else doesn’t care about sports! We can take away the fact that football is a part of Thanksgiving and America.
I personally only have it as background noise, but I won’t care about what’s happening.
QUESTION 6: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THANKSGIVING?
What I’ve found out is that family and food is all you need on Thanksgiving! We can take away the fact that blood is thicker than water but so is gravy. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I personally love all these things about Thanksgiving, but I’m happier about the fact Christmas is a month away.
QUESTION 7: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PIE ON THANKSGIVING?
What I’ve found out is everyone loves pumpkin pie, but everyone sleeps on pecan pie! We can take away the fact that pumpkin pie is more of a Thanksgiving staple dessert than apple pie. ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯
I personally love chocolate or pecan pie. If there isn’t a pie I like, I’ll just eat some of the eclairs and cookies.
