by In December, students at Herkimer College were asked if they had “five minutes to save a life.”
They answered this question with a resounding Yes! Thank you to students and staff for making the 2021 annual Amnesty International Write4Rights a success at Herkimer College. Letters written to government officials on behalf of the ten individual cases featured in this year’s campaign totaled an impressive 237. Thanks to all those who took the time to appeal to governments on behalf of human rights and in doing so were able to make a difference, with special thanks to Professor Verri and her classes, and to Mrs. Conley and the library staff. The materials to continue making a difference remain in the library.
