Herkimer County Community College’s new baseball and softball facility, which incurred a total construction cost of $4 million, has been completed. The inaugural game was held on Saturday, April 18, featuring the men’s team against SUNY Adirondack. The men’s team emerged victorious with scores of 8-0 and 10-0. Conversely, the women’s team faced a setback against Corning Community College, losing by 10-6 and 16-4. The players expressed satisfaction with the high-quality artificial field and dugouts, while spectators appreciated the improved seating arrangements.
