In RMCC on February 12, one of the most mysterious recurring events on Herkimer College campus occurred. The Aphrodisiac Buffet is a buffet-style event where aphrodisiac foods are served to students.
For those who don’t know, aphrodisiac supplements are foods, drinks that are known or suspected to boost your sex drive.
At this event, students had the opportunity to sample foods such as honey, chocolate, pineapple and many others. They also had the opportunity to learn about aphrodisiac supplements.
The event has a long history on Herkimer’s campus. Vicki Brown, Director of Student Activities, organizes it yearly. Brown stated that the college has been hosting it for “maybe 10 years.”
An attendant who wanted to be referred to as “Shak P” stated that he enjoyed the buffet, and after trying the ginger root beer and chocolate was “kinda feelin’ it.”
