Amnesty International HC: Keep Making a Difference

This is the final 2025-2026 school year submission to The General, Herkimer College’s great student newspaper, from the Herkimer College chapter of Amnesty International. Thank you for following HC Amnesty International’s monthly articles on The General this year and for any work you have done on behalf of human rights. Additionally, gratitude to The General for the continued support of our chapter’s goals. Please continue to visit the official Amnesty International site for opportunities to make a difference.

The link that follows repeats the importance of becoming involved in the work of defending human rights.  As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”  We are reminded of Amnesty International’s importance not only in today’s world, but additionally, the strong history of defending human rights by this 60 year-old-plus organization.  https://thegeneral.herkimer.edu/amnesty-international-hc-top-ten-reasons-to-join/
