Though Christmas is nearly around the corner, I wanted to share some of the plates my family and I prepared for Thanksgiving.
When it comes to the holidays everyone spends them a bit different. However, no matter the differences — food still is able to bring us all together. In my house, my family prepares a mixture of Puerto Rican and Dominican cuisine. To pernil, arroz con gandules, flancocho and jamón horneado (as shown in the photos below). There were a bunch of plates I couldn’t stop myself from eating. Professor Gassmann could also relate as he was so kind to provide an image of his Thanksgiving table as well.
The holidays brings so much cheer… and sometimes, embarrassing family stories. No matter what your holiday holds, happy holidays!
