Featured Photo: Cookout with Campo

Herkimer College’s beloved tradition continued this New Student Orientation last weekend with its annual cookout, where our Campus Safety officers traded their usual patrol duties for spatulas and tongs, grilling up hamburgers and hotdogs for the incoming students. The event, a longtime staple of orientation weekend, gives new Generals a chance to meet the officers who help keep campus safe in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

Beyond the food, students took part in orientation favorites like Cam Jam and cornhole, mingling with classmates and staff as they settled into life on campus. The cookout continues a anticipated moment of orientation combining community-building and good food.
